The 2019 Narramore Fellowship at the University of Alabama has
been awarded to Joseph. This allows him to complete his Doctor of
Musical Arts in Piano Performance and Pedagogy. The Narramore
Fellowship is available to only one candidate every three years and
is one of the world’s most prestigious awards in music education.



Haydn seems to have been sufficiently skilled as a keyboard player to have given lessons on it at various times. Unlike Mozart and Beethoven, however, he made no attempt to parade himself as a virtuoso, or indeed to play in public at all.



Operatic fantasies, expressive idylls, a taste for the exotic, brilliant virtuosity … The programme offered in this CD by the Isakar Duo (Isabella Stabio on the saxophones and Carmelo Luca Sambataro at the piano) is a glinting rainbow embracing the full technical-expressive potential of the saxophone.



The idea of compiling Debussy's works from 1903 to 1907 originally stemmed from a personal, pianistic discovery-a hunch, perhaps. At the time, I had been playing "Reflections in the Water," "Gardens in the
rain ,"and the second book of Images, as well as the 1904 triptych Isle joyeuse-From a book of sketches Masques for several years.



Award-winning pianist Frederic Bager has appeared across Europe and the rest of the world. He has performed Brahms piano concerti at venues such as the Great Hall of the Berlin Philharmonie, the Cologne Philharmonie, St John’s Smith Square London.....



Marianna Grynchuk is an Australian pianist of Ukrainian origin. She was born into a musical family and began her musical studies with her mother at the age of 4.



When Alexander Campbell Mackenzie was born in Edinburgh in 1847, there had been music on the male side of the family for at least two generations. Grandfather John (1797-1852) had been a violinist, as was his son Alexander (1819-1857).
