SHEVA 348 WANDERING Ardens Trio
With the music featured in Wandering, the listener is projected far beyond Beethoven’s conception of the genre – who at the beginning of the 19th century codified its main characteristics, giving it full artistic dignity.
The result is a listening journey in which, in the transition from the evocative sound universe of Franz Liszt (1811-1886) – significantly represented by Tristia – to the dramatic Piano Trio in G minor Op. 26 by Antonín Dvořák (1841-1904), a subtle common thread emerges which, echoing the ancient leitmotiv of travel, finds its ideal conclusion in the refined Piano Trio by Pier Carmine Garzillo (1995).
